3rd Time's the Charm for R20 Budget Vote
By
Staff Writer
On June 18th, taxpayers in Warren, Morris, Goshen and Litchfield returned to the polls to vote in a referendum on the Region 20 School Budget for FY 2025/26. The first vote in May had resulted in a resounding rejection by voters in all 4 towns. In early June a revised budget was more narrowly rejected. Following additional budget cuts and community engagement, a reduced budget was approved by a solid majority overall, despite Goshen and Morris voting to reject it. The budget was accordingly adopted.
