New Stop Signs Help Traffic Concerns on Woodridge Lake

Ed Dutka, General Manager of Woodridge Lake, recently addressed the addition of new stop signs on Woodridge Lake roads.  Negotiations between the Town and members of the Board of the Lake discussed a few options for traffic control.  Stop sign installations were a proposal prepared by the Town’s Public Works Dept. as other alternatives to traffic control were considered; such as speed humps.

These are the sights where stop signs were placed:

*Shelbourne Drive at the intersection with Ashley Drive. (a three way stop)

*Shelbourne Drive at the intersection with Belshyre Court (a three-way stop)

*East Hyerdale Drive at the intersection with Sherbrook Drive. (a three-way stop)

*East Hyerdale Drive at the intersection with Brynmoor Court. (a three-way stop)

At this point, Dutka stated the other proposal of adding speed humps was put on hold.
