R20 Board Updates

The R20 Board of Education voted on November 7th to move forward with the search for a new Superintendent. The board will be partnering with CABE to assist in that search and are looking forward to finding the right candidate for this very important position. 

At the October 22nd special meeting to the community, the R20 Board along with acting Superintendent, Kristen Della Volpe and Financial consultant, Tom Ariola presented the community with a presentation regarding the proposed referendum for $1.9M in debt and up to $1M in capital projects. The board approved to take the $1.9M in debt to the community for a vote at a date yet to be determined. 

Fall sports have come to a close throughout the schools, with several teams making it to the state championships in their first year as Bobcats! The R20 could not be more proud of our athletes, coaches, parents and staff for an excellent start to what is the beginning of a great legacy.
