Happy Spring Region 20 Community!

We're a few short months away from the official "merge" of our 2 districts, and to say it's been a winding road would be an understatement. The amount of work Chris Leone, our exceptional District Office team, school Administrators, Teachers, the School Board and the entire staff have put in to make this vision turn into a reality is unprecedented and often overlooked from the outside. We recognize that there will be hiccups and growing shifts along the way, and at the same time, we are beyond proud of the progress we have achieved for this historical event. We would also like to acknowledge our community of students and parents, who have raised voices and shared thoughts and ideas with us - you are who we do this work for, and we are grateful for your commitment to the success of our schools. We couldn't do it without you all!

A special shout out to everyone who came out on Monday, May 6th to vote for the Region 20 budget for the 2024-2025 school year. Chris has been presenting the budget to the towns for the last few months, and we are very excited to let you know that the first official budget for the Region 20 School District passed! Thank you for your support, we appreciate it.

We're proud to let you know that the curriculum for all of our schools has been a focal point. We have had the ability to expand class offerings and activity options for our students on every level for the upcoming school year. We have also solidified the graduation requirements for all high school students in conjunction with state requirements and Region 20 expectations.

Over the summer our schools will be transformed! We're improving classrooms, painting inside and out, changing colors, updating gymnasium floors and incorporating new signage throughout the buildings to coordinate with our new colors and mascots. Additional parking spaces will be added at Lakeview High School as well. There's still a ton of work to be done, and we are as excited as you are to see the result!

Pre-K registration for fall 2024 is now open. For information on how to register your 3 or 4 year old, as well as our Pre-K program schedule and offerings, visit the "Programs" tab on our Region 20 website.

Enjoy the rest of your spring R20 Community, we'll be back with updates soon!
