WAMOGO Class President Alexandria Teran
Alexandria Teran, class president of WAMOGO’s 2023 graduating class has been awarded the Ochre Ambassador Scholarship from Salve Regina College in Newport, RI, where she plans to major in business administration with a minor in pre-law. She is a current member of the National Honor Society and the National Art Honor Society. As Vice President of the Student Council, she brought the girls’ volleyball team into the Berkshire League. The active Teran was captain of the tennis team and member of the golf team as well as other school activities.
Alex, was recognized as 2nd in CT’s Future Business Leaders Public Speaker Contest and will be competing in Nationals for CT in Georgia in June. Other awards include the Sportsmen’s High School Award for excellence, ethics and integrity from the CT Interscholastic Athletic Conference, and the Juliette Oviatt award from the Goshen Grange. In her “spare time” she has worked at Mohawk Mountain and will be working at the Village Restaurant this summer. We wish her much continued success in the future.
