Brooker Memorial Announces New Program "Pathway to Success."

The program sends high school students to The Johnson O'Connor Research Foundation to participate in a day-long series of aptitude testing which is designed to measure an individual's "natural born abilities."

Brooker's goal is to help students that are uncertain of their path after graduating high school. By completing this program, students will have resources and knowledge to guide them to their "pathway to success."

Once students take the testing portion, they meet with a Johnson O'Connor professional that helps them understand their results and what jobs best fit their aptitudes.

Brooker will send groups of students twice a year with an event held in April. The event will showcase local businesses and professional leaders to talk with the students about their careers. The students can ask questions, learn about what their day to day life would be, what schooling they need (if any) and where they can start.

The Johnson O'Connor Research Foundation has a unique series of testing that has been researched since 1922. By measuring interests vs. aptitudes individuals are able to discover what their mind is naturally good at vs.what their interests are.
