John Richard William Christensen Sr.
John, 81, of Goshen, passed away on May 15, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born on Sept. 19, 1944, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, he was the son of the late Veronica and William. In addition to his loving wife Sandra, John is survived by his children Heidi, John, Kimberly, and Tracie. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews.

Luke Pesce
Luke, 19, of Litchfield ,passed away suddenly on June 7. Luke is survived by his loving parents, John and Leila, and his siblings Leah, Jonathan, and Ethan. He also leaves behind his grandparents, as well as a great number of aunts, uncles, cousins, who cared very deeply for Luke.
James “Jim” O’Connor
Jim, 76, of Litchfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on June 3. He was born on Jan. 19, 1950, in Milford. Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra; his children, David, Lisa, and Tracy. He also leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren.
James Andrew “Jimmy” Fiolek
Jimmy, 64, of Litchfield, passed away on May 28. He was born on March 9, 1962, in Torrington.
Leola Gulino
Leola, 86, died peacefully at home on May 27, after a short illness related to a longer-term medical condition. She was born at the French Hospital in New York City. Leola was predeceased by her sister, Yvette, and her parents, Leo and Gertrude; and her husband, Salvatore. She is survived by her daughters, her grandchildren, and many cousins.
Joseph Manes
Joseph, 78, of Litchfield, passed away May 24 peacefully, of natural causes, at his home. He was the husband of the late Beverly. He leaves daughters, Jean and Corrine; and sister, Joanne Denton.
MORRIS
Stacy, 49, of Morris, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on May 28, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Bridgeport. Her birth was celebrated on June 29, 1976, by her parent, Joseph Kateri. She was predeceased by her father, to whom she was very close. Stacy is survived by her mother, sisters, and her niece.
THOMASTON
Christopher Rhey Williams
Christopher, 48, of Thomaston, passed away peacefully on May 4 at MidState Medical Center, after a courageous battle with cancer. Christopher was born in Meriden on Aug. 3, 1977, son of the late William and Katherine. He is survived by his stepparents; several aunts; and several stepsisters. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his grandparents and his uncle.
TORRINGTON
Carolyn Cianciolo
Carol, 91, of Torrington, peacefully passed away at her home on June 12, surrounded by her family. Carol was born Oct. 21, 1934, in Torrington, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Anna Douglas. She is survived by five children, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Carol was also predeceased by two granddaughters, and her brother Kenneth.
Josephine Klozak
Josephine, of Torrington, passed away peacefully of June 9 at her residence, surrounded by family. She was born on Aug. 18, 1937, in Torrington. Josephine is lovingly survived by her husband, Stephen; her children Stephen, Christopher, and Joanne; her brother Anthony; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Josephine was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Anthony and Victoria, as well as her brother Walter.
Karen Fish
Karen Fish passed away June 7 in Torrington. Born in Wolcott on Feb. 16, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Gladys. She was also predeceased by her sister Ann.
John James Krayeski
John, 79, of Torrington, passed away peacefully on June 6. Born on Aug. 2, 1946, in Waterbury, John was the son of the late John and Veronica. John is survived by his wife Bernadette; his two children; six grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents.

Marlene, 85, of Torrington, passed away June 2 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Torrington on April 21, 1941. Marlene leaves behind her children; her cherished grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Marlene was preceded in death by her sister and her parents.
Michael Moore
Michael, 40, passed away June 1. Michael was born in Torrington on July 9, 1985, son of Steven and Mary Anne. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include a son, Lucian Moore; siblings Steven and Olivia; stepfather Bruce; several stepsiblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Michael was predeceased by his brother Nicholas.
Michael “Mike” McQuilkin
Mike, 66, passed away peacefully on May 28, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, surrounded by the family who loved him and never left his side. Mike was born on Nov. 7, 1959, at the 36th Tactical Hospital in Bitburg, Germany, to Ernest and Mary, while his family was stationed overseas. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister. Mike leaves behind his sons Austin and Ryan; his brother Randy; and his wife Barbara.

Richard, 70, of Torrington, passed away May 27, at his home. Richard was born Oct. 1, 1955, in Torrington, the son of the late Albert and Helen. He is survived by his children Nicole and Bryan; his siblings David, Helen, and Patricia; as well as three grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Carol.

Maureen Dunn Gustafson
Maureen, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at home May 23, following a six-month battle with health issues. Maureen was born in Chester, England, on Nov. 5, 1941. Maureen was the oldest child of the late Frederick and Dorris. Maureen leaves behind her husband Walter (Fred) Gustafson; children Victoria, Phillip, Matthew; and her siblings David, Rosemarie, and Julie. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Arline S. Feinberg
Arline passed away peacefully at her home in Washington on May 19. She is survived by her sons Mitchell and David; her sister Rosanne; her niece Amanda; her nephews Alex and David; and numerous cousins and other family members.

Rita Pasquarello
Rita, 101, passed away June 6. She was born on Sept. 29, 1924, to Edmund and Emma in Plainfield. She was one of eight children and the last of her family. She was predeceased by her husband; her two daughters; several great-grandchildren and grandchildren.
Gerald Robert “Jerry” Seymour
Jerry passed away at his residence on June 5. He was born on May 19, 1947, in Winsted to Donald and Agnes. He is survived by his wife, Yong; his two children, Michele and Craig; his five grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; siblings; and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sister, and a stepson.
Richard James “Dick” Carl
Dick, 75, passed away on June 2, at home after a long illness. He was the loving husband of the late Barbara for 47 years. He was born March 13, 1951, in Winsted, the son of the late Walter and Eunice. He is survived by his daughter Sara; close siblings, John, Kathie, and Linda; and several nieces. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his son James, and brother-in-law Donald.
Harold “Mac” Edward MacFarland
Mac, 78, of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away surrounded by his family on June 2, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born on Dec. 6, 1947, in Winsted, and was the son of Harold and Francis. Mac was united in marriage to Cheryl A. Sampson on April 29, 1977, in Winsted. Cheryl preceded him in death on April 9, 2019, after 42 years of marriage.
